CONTEXT
Mauvilac, a Mauritian paint manufacturer, usually presents the trendiest and most fashionable colours of the upcoming year through a printed catalogue called Colour Vogue. The problem with catalogues is that they aren’t really fashionable or trendy and certainly aren’t in vogue.
BRAND IDEA
Driving inspiration from fashion and contemporary art, we designed an immersive installation of colour and style. Our stage was an unfinished, unfurnished and unpainted concrete house shell. Our style? Nothing but our very own paintbrushes, lids, pots, samples, tools and accessories, upcycled and re-purposed. The most exclusive and fashionable influencers, architects and interior decorators attended the event and were delighted by the innovative installation and off the wall presentation of our new range. The colours themselves were brought to life through the body painted models, each designed to be a living masterpiece occupying a different house room
