CONTEXT
KFC is a big user of plastic straws in the world. In Mauritius, the figures are alarming even though we are a tiny island. KFC wanted to make a change by stopping plastic straws in their stores. We were appointed to create a campaign announcing KFC’s impactful decision.
BRAND IDEA
No one really knows the alarming number of plastic straws used in KFC stores and the actual positive impact stopping using them would create. We chose a bold message to impact “FOR F*** SAKE” (For Fact Sake) showing the figures that really shocked our viewers. We collected 40,000 straws from the KFC Stores over a month. These collected straws were then put to fill specially made billboards. Unexpected billboards made of thousands of real plastic straws! The campaign extended on social media with innovative posts and other media.
